In acknowledgement of the additional Bank Holiday for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on 3rd June 2022, the Department for Education has agreed to reduce the minimum number of teaching days to 189 meaning the total school year will be 194 days.

As the 3rd June falls within the current summer half term holiday, the additional bank holiday will be taken by schools on what would have been the final day of the school year, meaning the school year will now end on Thursday 21st July 2022 not Friday 22nd July 2022, as originally published.

Hi Everyone,

I have attached some letters regarding some staff changes for September.

Please take the time to read them :)

A little while ago I asked for parents, carers and service users to fill out a survey regarding domestic abuse.

Below, I have added a link for anyone that would still be interested in taking part.

Domestic Abuse Review. We all know that Domestic Abuse is serious but very common, and has increased during Covid. All our Nurseries and Children’s Centres are safe spaces, and anyone affected by Domestic Abuse is always welcome. As Safeguarding Governor I have been asked to review our Domestic Abuse service, to see if it should change and develop further. Your views and ideas as parents, carers and service users are a vital part of this.

Please could you take a few minutes to answer and return the following questions by 27th March? All information is confidential and will not be shared in any way.
